The Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's childcare and educational activities from preschool and after-school care to preschool class, primary school, adapted school, upper secondary school, adult education, and various commissioned training programs. All students should also remember their school time as safe, fun, and educational. The various activities of the Education Administration have a clear common focus on all children's and students' conditions for completing their studies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Every day we need substitute teachers for our preschools in Partille Municipality. Right now, we have a greater need and are therefore looking for you who can be available at least three days a week. As a substitute teacher, you help create conditions for all children to play, learn, and develop during their day at preschool, but also have fun together. Together with other staff, you help create creative indoor and outdoor activities and participate in daily gatherings, excursions, meals, and other activities with the children.

Working as a substitute teacher with us means that you work at one or more different preschools in Partille Municipality. You replace regular staff during short-term or unplanned absences. You control how much and when you want to work by entering your available time in our booking system, after which we will book you in when work shifts arise. Working hours will vary between 6 AM - 6 PM on weekdays.

QUALIFICATIONS

Are you curious, engaged, and have good collaboration skills? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

As a substitute teacher in preschool, we value that you are flexible and enjoy working in new environments. You are attentive and responsible and, of course, have a good attitude towards everyone you meet. If you have experience working in childcare in any form, it is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have completed high school education.

To work as a substitute with us, you need to be available at least 3 days a week. We are looking for someone who is meticulous and responsible, as we require you to manage your availability and update it in our staffing system, SwedeTime.

According to the Education Act, an extract from the police criminal record must be presented before employment in preschool activities, schools, and school-age childcare. A valid ID must also be presented. In your application, you should indicate your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
